Hi there,

Here is your week’s edition of Never Enough, a list of what I’ve been exploring.

  1. Metalab, the product design agency I started back in 2006, just launched their first major rebrand in years: www.metalab.com
  2. Check out this article from Inc. Magazine that came out this week. Bryan Elliot did a great job at capturing my story.
  3. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing huge recurring charges on my credit card for simple software. For example, I recently saw one of our companies paying $40,000 per year for glorified screenshot software. Jason and David from Basecamp are fighting this trend with Once.com. TLDR: They’re building simple apps to replace all the basics companies rely on, starting with Slack (Campfire). You just pay $300, once, then you run it on your own server. Genius.
  4. Last year, we teamed up with my friend James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits, to make the ultimate habits app. It’s called Atoms, and it launched yesterday. Debuted in the top 10 of the US App Store! Click here to learn more.
  5. I’m a longtime user of Instapaper, but the king is dead. I’ve converted over to Readwise Reader and it’s UNBELIEVABLY good. A few features I love: perfectly imports PDFs with flawless OCR and highlighting / it has flawless text-to-speech / insanely fast keyboard driven interface.
  6. My friend Bill Ackman did a wide ranging interview on Lex Fridman and it's great, you can check it out here.
  7. I never thought I’d say this, but I loved the Prince Harry book, Spare. It turns out it’s ghost written by J.R. Moehringer, who has written some of my favourite biographies (Open by Andre Agassi and Shoe Dog by Phil Knight - both are incredible). Highly recommend, fun read. And this is coming from someone who couldn’t care less about royal drama.

It’s Never Enough. Until next week,

Andrew
